Remembering Tom Wolfe: 1930-2018

Author Tom Wolfe, who immortalized America's astronauts in 'The Right Stuff,' died on May 14, 2018 at 88. His many best-sellers include "The Bonfire of the Vanities" and "The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test." Wolfe also was a chief practitioner of what was called The New Journalism in the 1960s and '70s. Tom Wolfe posed for USA TODAY on Nov. 1, 2004 in New York while promoting his book "I Am Charlotte Simmons."
